FAQ
WHAT ARE MICROSHADING OR OMBRE POWDER BROWS?
Microshading or Ombre Brows is a cosmetic tattoo procedure that involves the use of a handheld machine that deposits pigment into the eyebrow area to achieve a filled-in look, similar to using a eyebrow pencil or powder. This style is great for all skin types and gives a defined yet natural look.
WHAT ARE NANO BROWS?
Nano Brows are an alternative style, similar to Microblading but this involves the use of the cosmetic tattoo machine (used for Microshading). This style provides natural-like hair strokes to the brow area, creating a natural and fluffy effect. This method is less invasive to the skin than the traditional microblading technique and lasts longer. This style is great for all skin types and looks best with clients with little to no eyebrow hairs.
WHAT ARE COMBINATION BROWS?
Combination Brows are just as the name describes: a combination of both styles (Microshading and Nano Brows). This is a 3-D, hybrid style that is ideal for anyone that wants to achieve a natural yet full and fluffy look to your brows. This style involves hair strokes at the front of the eyebrows with shading towards the middle and end of the eyebrows. This style is great for all skin types.

HOW LONG WILL THIS LAST?
After your initial appointment, a 4-6 week appointment will be scheduled. This touch up session is key to ensure you receive the best results. This session will correct any asymmetry, loss of pigmentation, and other corrections that may occur during the healing period. Everyone will experience healing processes and results will vary from person to person.

After your touch-up procedure, your eyebrows will last for 1-3 years. A touch-up is only required after your eyebrows have faded by 50%-60%. If you are unsure if you are ready for a touch-up service, please reach out via email or text.
WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE RISKS?
-
Pain Level: Although a topic lidocaine anesthetic cream will be applied before and throughout the procedure, the anesthetics will work better on some clients than others. On a scale of 1-010, with 10 being the worst, the pain level is 2-3.
-
Asymmetry: Our bone structure and muscular makeup of our face is not created equally. Due to this, our eyebrows may not be identical and perfectly symmetrical. During the eyebrow mapping segment of the procedure, your eyebrows will be pre-drawn as symmetrical as possible. Any adjustments will be made during the touch-up session.
-
Pigmentation Loss/Unevenness: Many factors can cause uneven and loss of pigmentation including but not limited to poor healing, infection, bleeding, poor aftercare, etc. Any corrections will be made during the touch-up session.
-
Excessive Swelling or Bruising: Although rare, swelling can occur and will disappear 1-5 days after the initial procedure. Using an ice pack will help decrease the swelling. Some clients may not experience any swelling or bruising.
-
Anethetics: A topical numbing agent will be applied and may include lidocaine, prilocaine, benzocaine, tetracaine, or epinephrine gel. If you are allergic to any of these products, please let us know immediately.
-
Allergic Reaction: An allergic reaction to the pigment is extremely rare but possible. If you are interested in a patch test, please contact us a week prior.
-
Infection: Although unusual, an infection could occur if the area is not properly cleansed. Be sure to follow the aftercare instruction that will provided to you.
